Construction update - May 28th

Our contractor, Ratcliff Consruction, has been working since May 1st on demo and prepping for the new infrastructure - HVAC, plumbing and bathrooms, electrical, stairway and ductwork. Construction should be complete within the next 13 months.

The former front entrance facing West Congress Street.

 

 

The hole in the ceiling is where the old stairway was.

Formerly the children's storytelling pit, temporarily a pond.  The cafe/vending area will overlook Mary's Garden and Live Oak Society member # 6140 LE LIVRE-CHENE DANS LE JARDIN DE MARIE

 

 

The new front entrance (in progress) will face Lafayette Street.
